What was the score?
I was watching from the left side London Road
Crazy that we were losing to teams like Hayes and Yeading not too long ago and now we're in the Championship. The only constant is that we'll still be playing Luton haha.
lol David Icke reporting
Not really that funny..he was sports broadcaster and former footballer????
We're back in 2nd tier again Jim😊....two of your other clubs up with us as well
2010: IT'S A LONG WAY BACK FOR YORK CITY NOW!! 2024: IT'S A LONG WAY BACK FOR BOLTON NOW!!!
Daniel Mann is a legend
From there to Championship!!!!!
I remember going to this game. It was a couple of days after the great storm and was one of the few games that got played that weekend. I remembered the scoreline but had forgotten who had scored. Love the old school Commodore 64 style graphics!
Wesley!!!
I remember watching this on TV and celebrating like mad whenever the Bloods scored. Felt so happy after that match! Btw good luck in the playoffs Oxford, hope y’all get promoted to the Championship 🤞🤞🤞
Thank you for posting this! Ive never seen it before. ❤️
Look at the pitch. Deary me.
Urrzz
I was gutted after this we should have done a better job
Back when Droylsden was a proper town and our club were at their peak.
marvellous
I was there at the back of the London road. me and me pal, Eddie Adams. We got crushed on the terraces when Dyer netted that one right at the end. I can remember Steve Stone looking classy and Joey and Pearce having good games against each other. Great days
Great game
Banim's a legend
Fantastic footage. State of the pitch. Famous names, Dearden, Quixall, Frizzell, Barron, Atkinson. Just brilliant. That was the golden age of football, not today's overpaid prima donnas playing on billiard table surfaces.
I was there, it’s baking hot on that day! Lincoln’s Simon Yeo got sent off after kicked the ball direct at ball boy!
Aha good memories
A great win ! I remember it well

Was at this game with my brother RIP Joey Beauchamp who gave the Oxford United fans something to cheat 💛💙
RIP Joey Beauchamp
Look how young we were
Love looking at the Manor back in the day with the newly erected foof over the old London Road Stand
Wow great video I never seen this before ,was this in sale from the club around that season end ? I bought the Wembley dvd but might just remember this dvd too on sale too ? Nice to see Mickey Lewis and the players having been at the Mickey Lewis memorial match in his memory earlier today watching these players not in their younger prime years but in their retirement years now , to which they couldn't put many skillfull passes together and drew 1 - 1 with the Oxford city veterans
Gary Briggs barely gets a mention for a superb goal... all about MU bad defending. Then the ESPN ticker tape talks about Utd improving under Ferguson, no mention of Oxford at all. Pathetic really.
Quand tu passe ici après avoir vu la publication sur Instagram 🧐
Steve! dncncjs
come out and play (goaaaal) 👍🏼😎 steve davis 🇹🇷
City!! Kinkladze was a genius 👌💙💙💙
Where's west hams no.6... Steve Davis? Lol. Harry Rednapp famously brought on a fan after being impressed by the lads banter during the game. He came on as the last substitute as a fan and scores a goal that was disallowed. This kind of act will never be recorded in history ever again. Imagine that feeling coming on as a fan and actually scoring a goal! Dream come true right there!
He was number 16 wasn’t he
That was against a different team
@@larnolarno6800 same team different game
The Bulgarian striker 😂😂
@@tokoni4359no Oxford city and Oxford united different clubs
Dark days for us Oxford fans.!
Should have the theme tune "those were the days my friend, I thought they'd never end"
